“As a Child at the Beach”
“To invoke the feelings of joy and exhilaration I felt as a child at the beach in Libya. The sea salt smell and the delicious feeling of the warm breeze on my cold wet skin.”
The beaches in Libya were often loaded with bits of tar that would wash up as waste from the petroleum industry. Which is why we were there in the first place. So you had to be careful where you walked and sat in the sand. I don’t see any tar in my artplay – maybe I should put some in.
