A small departure from my usual technique. This is from an exercise I did in Louise Fletcher’s taster course called Find Your Joy.
The lesson was 2 parts. First, paint something you normally paint but use a different color palette than what you normally use and also different tools. Part 2 was to paint a second study using what you normally do and anything you found you liked using from the first part.
Turns out using knives and squeegees are really FUN! So my 2nd study – the one in this post – is with a more typical palette but I kept the tools. I really like this one!!!! Finding my joy!
