The original artwork was created using torn, hand-painted papers, acrylic paint, and gold leaf. Each of the papers are layered in various shades, giving the final piece a lot of depth and an organic feel. You can see the detail in the papers by rolling your cursor over the images above.
I use Hanhemühle Bamboo paper for each print. Considered by some to be an eco-friendlier alternative source for paper, the paper has a natural white appearance with a very slight surface texture. It is made from 90% bamboo fibers and 10% cotton therefore guarantees archival standards.
