Description
This piece was created using torn, hand-painted papers and acrylic paint. I use different papers in each piece. If you look closely you may notice music notations or print from an old thesaurus. Each of the papers are layered in various shades, giving the final piece a lot of depth and an organic feel. You can see the detail in the papers by rolling your cursor over the images above.
I use Hanhemühle Bamboo paper for each print. Considered by some to be an eco-friendlier alternative source for paper, the paper has a natural white appearance with a very slight surface texture. It is made from 90% bamboo fibers and 10% cotton therefore guarantees archival standards.
